Decoy cells detected in the urine of a patient with complex karyotype Myelodysplastic Neoplasms who underwent umbilical cord blood transplantation: a case report

This case report describes a case of a complex karyotype Myelodysplastic Neoplasms patient who underwent umbilical cord blood transplantation, and decoy cells were found in the postoperative urine cytology examination. Subsequently, BK virus nucleic acid testing was performed, but it did not receive attention and intervention from clinical doctors due to the routine use of antiviral drugs, resulting in the development of hemorrhagic cystitis as a complication.
