Yarra Valley Landscape Protection Programme

This project aims to increase the long term resilience of the series of reserves in the Yarra Valley, by reducing threatening processes that currently impact on the site. This may include things such as weed invasion, erosion, pest animals and habitat loss via inappropriate site use impacts. These processes impact on the biodiversity, utility, amenity and cultural heritage values of the sites.

The Green Army Team would provide front line response to these threatening processes via a series of practical on ground works. These may include activities such as fencing, track improvements, weed removal, nest box installation and revegetation works.
