ArcticDEM is a high-resolution digital surface model (DSM) database developed under the NGA-NSF initiative, which automatically generates high-quality digital elevation models (DEMs) of the Arctic region using optical stereo imagery, high-performance computing, and open-source photogrammetric software. The database contains hundreds of thousands of stereo digital elevation models acquired between 2007 and 2024 from WorldView-series satellites and the GeoEye-1 satellite, with a spatial resolution ranging from 0.32 to 0.5 meters. The data is provided in two formats: strip files that retain temporal information, and mosaic files intended for change detection.
