Asymptotic model for the interplay of sedimentation and crystallization
收藏资源简介:
This dataset contains the data associated with the manuscript entitled 'Asymptotic model for the interplay of sedimentation and crystallization', which was submitted for publication in Physical Review Fluids. The study considers a simple model for the coupled crystallization and sedimentation of a nucleated particle in a solvent. The availability of asymptotic solutions is particularly attractive in view of the lengthy computational time, which is directly associated with the cumulative computational burden of the history term. The dataset has three directories: I. Figure 4 - containing data and scripts to compare numerical and asymptotic results; II. Figure 5 - containing data and scripts to compare numerical results for different gravity levels; III. Appendix - containing data and scripts regarding the construction of analytical solution and comparison with numerical results presented in the Appendix A of the main manuscript. The dataset includes: Numerical result as .mat files supporting the figures in the paper. MatLab scripts to read from saved data and re-construct composite solutions. This data is made available to ensure the transparency and reproducibility of the results presented in the article. Citation:If you use this dataset, cite the associated article and this Zenodo record (CC-BY-4.0). The data in the 'dataset_g*.mat' files were generated using code described in Section V of the main manuscript. This code is available upon reasonable request.
