This dataset contains the raw and intermediate data files for the TAPDANCE (Transposon Analysis Pipeline for Driver And Cancer Element identification) analysis used in the paper "A forward genetic screen identifies Sirtuin1 as a driver of neuroendocrine prostate cancer." The dataset includes: seqs.tab - Raw sequencing reads containing barcodes and IRDR (inverted repeat/direct repeat) sequences from a Sleeping Beauty transposon screen in a mouse model of neuroendocrine prostate cancer. mapping/ - Intermediate mapping files produced by TAPDANCE.pl that show the genomic locations of transposon insertions. These files complement the complete TAPDANCE analysis results available in the GitHub repository: https://github.com/alevax/sleeping-beauty-paper The TAPDANCE pipeline identifies common insertion sites (CIS) that represent potential driver genes in neuroendocrine prostate cancer development. This dataset enables reproducibility of the analysis described in the paper and provides a resource for researchers studying genetic drivers of aggressive prostate cancer subtypes.
