A Relocated Earthquake Catalog (2016–2020) for Lefkada Island (Kefalonia Transform Fault Zone), Greece

This repository contains a relocated earthquake catalog of 6773 earthquakes recorded on Lefkada Island between 01/09/2016 and 31/12/2020. Phase arrivals for earthquakes with local magnitudes of M≥2.5 were obtained from the monthly bulletins of the Geophysics Department of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (doi:10.7914/SN/HT). For earthquakes with M<2.5, phase arrivals were manually picked by the authors. The earthquakes were initially relocated using the HYPOINVERSE program (Klein, 2000) and subsequently refined with the hypoDD algorithm (Waldhauser, 2001), incorporating both catalog and waveform cross-correlation differential times (Schaff et al., 2004). A local velocity model from Papadimitriou et al. (2017) was used throughout the relocation process. The catalog is provided as an 11-column CSV file with the following fields: year, month, day, hour, minute, second, latitude [°N], longitude [°E], depth [km], local magnitude (ML), and event ID. A separate text file lists the sixteen seismic stations used in the relocation.
