EFSA Confirm 2022 (2021 data)

The European Commission (EC) and the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) are committed to ensuring the high quality of antimicrobial resistance (AMR) data submitted for the harmonized EU surveillance on AMR. Each year, selected resistance profiles reported by National Reference Laboratories (NRLs) to the EFSA database are verified through reference Antimicrobial Susceptibility Testing (AST) and Whole Genome Sequencing (WGS) conducted at the European Union Reference Laboratory for Antimicrobial Resistance (EURL-AR).
