资源简介:
The Insulin signalling pathway coordinates hormonal and nutritional signals in developing animals. This facilitates the complex regulation of several fundamental molecular and cellular processes including transcription, translation, cell stress, autophagy, and physiological states, such as aging, starvation, hormonal regulation, as well as both organism-wide and tissue-specific growth. The action of Insulin signalling is mediated through the Insulin Receptor (InR), a transmambrane receptor of the Tyrosine Kinase class. While vertebrates possess one copy of the InR, some arthropods possess either one or two copies. Interestingly, the Gerromorpha have three distinct InR copies, making it a unique case among metazoans. In this study we sequenced and compared the three copies on eight Gerromorpha species using NGS.
