资源简介:
This study posits that internal conflicts, inadequate rural infrastructure, global economic shifts, and dependency on food imports increasingly compromise Nigeria’s food security. The interplay of these factors creates structural vulnerabilities that threaten national food stability. Therefore, the research propositions that guide the study are:
1. Internal conflicts, like insurgency, do not affect Nigeria's agricultural productivity and food security.
2. Inadequate rural infrastructure does not reduce local food production and market accessibility, increasing reliance on imported food.
3. Global wars do not interrupt food imports, which leads to supply chain bottlenecks and price instability.
4. Inflation and currency depreciation do not increase food prices in Nigeria, lowering household purchasing power and increasing dependency on foreign markets.
5. Nigeria's reliance on imports does not make it vulnerable to global market volatility and trade disruptions, compromising national food security.
The data shows the respondents views that had to be transcribed for understanding, cognitive maps, charts and tables show the relationships and views of the farmers.
