## **Abstract** \n\nThe dataset was derived by the Bioregional Assessment Programme from multiple source datasets. The source datasets are identified in the Lineage field in this metadata statement. The processes undertaken to produce this derived dataset are described in the History field in this metadata statement.\n\n\n\nThis dataset is the estimation of groundwater recharge in the Namoi. It is uses the chloride mass balance method in the consolidated rock area and an empirical relationship betwenn soils, land use and climate in the alluvial areas.\n\n## **Purpose** \n\nThis dataset provides a long term average recharge rate for input to the groundwater modelling.\n\n## **Dataset History** \n\nThis dataset is the estimation of groundwater recharge in the Namoi.
