Influence of miR-181a deficiency on antiviral T cell response in vivo

The goal of this study was to examine how miR-181a deficiency impairs virus-specific T cell expansion in vivo. Congenically marked wild type and miR-181a-deficient SMARTA TCR transgenic cells that are specific for the LCMV glycoprotein 61-80 epitope were adoptively co-transferred into B6 mice that were infected with LCMV Armstrong one day later. On day 7, wild type and miR-181a-deficient SMARTA cells were sorted. Libraries were prepared using Ovation RNA-Seq System (NuGEN) and sequenced on Illumina NextSeq 500.
