Anti-cancer activity of ST101, a novel antagonist of CCAAT/enhancer binding protein ß

To investigate the impact of ST101 on transcriptional activity of C/EBPß protein, U251, A549 and MCF7 tumor cell lines were exposed to 10µM ST101 for 24 hours. Gene expression profiling analysis demonstrates attenuation of C/EBPß target gene transcriptions, including a significant decrease in expression of survival, transcription factors and cell cycle-related proteins. Overall design: Comparative gene expression profiling analysis of RNA-Seq data for U251, A549 and MCF7 cells. Triplicate samples of cells were either treated with ST101 or vehicle.
