A needs analysis of English for archery instructors

This research study aimed to study needs analysis of Thai archery instructors. The needs analysis was conducted using questionnaires consisting of close-ended and open-ended questions. There were 35 participants who were considered as stakeholders which were Thai archery instructors, foreign learners, and archery club owners. The participants were selected based on the purposive sampling technique in order to conduct needs analysis. The results showed that the archery instructors needed an ESP course to improve their oral and written communication with foreign learners who were also considered as customers. An English course could be designed further to improve their English skills based on archery matters and customer service.Keywords: ESP, Needs Analysis, Archery
