Transplantation effect of donor-derived fecal microorganisms in calf diarrhea treatment

Fecal microbiota transplantation (FMT) emerges as a therapeutic approach for managing calf diarrhea. Overcoming practical hurdles such as donor selection, fecal collection, and the narrow window for FMT implementation with fresh feces, we investigate the efficacy of utilizing frozen (F) or freeze-dried (FD) microorganisms isolated from heathy donor calf in treating recipient calf diarrhea.
