Exome capture sequencing of wild barley (Hordeum spontaneum) from Israel

In this study we conducted whole exome sequencing of 82 wild barley (Hordeum spontaneum) accessions from a range of locations across Israel. The Barley1K (B1K) collection consists of accessions collected using a hierarchical sampling strategy based on geographic data showing the largest range of abiotic environments in which wild barley populations grow in Israel (Hübner et al. 2009, https://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1111/j.1365-294X.2009.04106.x). Exome capture was carried out using the Nimblegen barley capture array designed by Mascher et al. 2013 (https://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1111/tpj.12294).
