MODIS Data is an Earth observation database provided by NASA Goddard Space Flight Center. It contains data from 36 spectral bands acquired by the MODIS instruments aboard the Terra and Aqua satellites, with spatial resolutions of 250 meters, 500 meters, and 1000 meters respectively. This database provides land, ocean, and atmospheric products that can be utilized for studies of processes and trends ranging from local to global scales. The data are processed via the MODIS Adaptive Processing System (MODAPS) and distributed by multiple distributed archival centers.
