Based on the RNA-seq technique, the transcriptome profiles of HepG2 cells regulated by PA and BCA were determined, the differentially expressed genes were identified, and the genes were further analyzed by GO functional annotation and KEGG pathway enrichment analysis, to elucidate the function of differentially expressed genes and the involved signaling pathways, which will lay a foundation for the further study on the mechanism of BCA alleviating PA-induced lipid accumulation in HepG2 cells.
