This series consists of binders containing signed minutes from the Finance and Administration Committee of the Sydney Opera House Trust and binders containing agenda and reports to this committee. The Finance and Administration Committee replaced the existing Finance Committee in January 1976.The minutes and reports provide a record of recommendations made to the Trust by the committee on capital expenditure, major staffing changes and the establishment of committees such as the Tender Committee, the Catering Sub-Committee and the Insurance Sub-Committee.Information provided in the minutes includes the time and place of each meeting, the attendance, and business arising. The agenda and reports binders contain the agendas for each meeting and any papers that relate to and support the items discussed such as budget papers, correspondence and revenue reports.The committee minutes are contained in three binders, in chronological order, while the agenda and reports are contained in six binders, also in chronological order.
