The selection of specific miRNAs by exosomes and their release from cultured melanocytes after exposure to solar UVR (UVA+UVB) have activities in inducing these cells into a premature senescence. Overall design: In this analysis, Affymetrix's GeneChip miRNA 4.0 array was used to measure changes in the levels of miRNAs in exosomes from un-irradiated and irradiated melanocytes
