The goal of this study was to characterise the binding sites of SMAD1 in cultured human embryonic stem cells (hESCs) immediately after exposure to the pro-differentiation growth factor BMP4. ChIP-Seq of SMAD1 was performed on the cultured hESC line H1 grown in mTeSR1 with or without treatment with BMP4 for 60 minutes.
