Measuring Consumption in the United States

In this replication packet, we provide the code to replicate our main household-level consumption dataset from the Consumer Expenditure Interview Survey (CE) from 1960 to 2019. These data are used in several studies, which are listed in the references section of the README.pdf document, and for our measure of consumption poverty reported on our dashboard at http://povertymeasurement.org/dashboard/. This packet includes the final dataset as well as the code and instructions for how this dataset was created.
