This dataset is developed based on historical hospital charging data, combined with relevant medical insurance policies, and comprehensively refined via analysis using artificial intelligence algorithms and big data technologies. A new version is generated whenever a new medical insurance fraud monitoring rule is added or modified. Its core application lies in medical insurance fraud monitoring: it can timely detect and alert against improper medical billing violations, effectively curtail unlawful hospital charging behaviors, and reduce the risk of administrative and economic penalties imposed due to such violations.
