Colorectal cancer organoids and FFPE tissue sections from tumours displaying diverse radiotherapy response characteristics were subjected to CAGE-seq analysis to determine the differences in transcriptional initiation and RNA processing characteristics associated with radiotherapy response.The colorectal cancer organoids were additionally subjected to 25Gy irradiation (5Gy over 5 days) followed by 4 days recovery, after which RNA was collected (from matched treated and untreated samples and CAGE-seq analysis performed.
