Aim of the study was to characterize decidual macrohage populations and to verify the isolation protocol by showing the distinction between macrophages and monocytes Overall design: Decidual macrophages and monocytes were isolated from donor-matched decB, decP, and placental tissues using enzymatic digestion and FACS, and RNA was extracted directly after cell isolation.
