The ARHGEF2 (Rho/Rac Guanine Nucleotide Exchange Factor 2) gene is a member of the guanine nucleotide exchange factor that plays a role in controlling the activity of downstream effectors, via the Rho GTPases family. It has been shown in different cell types that ARHGEF2 is a key molecule in actin remodeling and cell barrier dysfunction. In order to study the possible biological functions of ARHGEF2, we deleted ARHGEF2 by siRNA in 22RV1 cells and performed RNA-seq analysis. The cell line was purchased from ATCC (22RV1; cat.ATCC® CRL-2505™).
