The xBD dataset is the first building damage assessment dataset to date, and is one of the largest and highest-quality public datasets for annotated high-resolution satellite imagery. This dataset contains 22,068 1024 × 1024 high-resolution satellite remote sensing images, which are annotated with 19 distinct event categories including earthquakes, floods, wildfires, volcanic eruptions, and car accidents. The dataset includes both pre-disaster and post-disaster image pairs, and can be used for localization and damage assessment tasks.
