BOiS数据库

The BOiS Database was developed by the University of Potsdam. It is a dataset consisting of 120 real-world scene images for visual search experiments. These images are classified into indoor and outdoor categories, with each image having three variants: the target object is situated at a predictable location, an unpredictable location, or completely absent. This dataset is employed to examine how spatial frequency and color influence object search in real-world scenes, particularly their respective impacts in central and peripheral vision. By analyzing eye-tracking data, this dataset reveals the differences between central and peripheral vision in processing different spatial frequency information, as well as the role of color in visual search.
