X-ray CT Dataset of a Chocolate Bar

This is an X-ray CT dataset of a Baby Ruth chocolate bar, acquired on an NSI X5000 scanner. The data was collected at PNNL and has an IR number of PNNL-SA-217735. Vortex trajectory The dataset is in what NSI calls a vortex trajectory. A vortex trajectory is helical in shape but doesn’t necessarily meet the stringent sampling requirements sometimes listed for helical trajectories. Files Radiographs-Demo_BabeRuth - contains the radiographs (tiff files) and a 'poisitions.txt' file Demo_BabeRuth - PreReconstruction.nsipro - contains information about the scan geometry Geometry and Geometry-1 - The two Geometry folders correspond to 60-projection (61 with overlap) circular scans taken at the top and bottom of the vortex trajectory’s Z-range; these scans are made on a stacked ball phantom at both the top and bottom positions, and are used together with an ellipse ball-tracking method to determine the geometry parameters for the scan.
