This dataset supports the manuscript: "Hydraulic Geometry as a Low-Dimensional Information System: Entropy, Frictional Scaling, and the Role of q" The dataset includes hydraulic geometry parameters derived from IDEAM hydrological stations in the Meta and Atrato river basins (Colombia). The current version (v2.0) includes: - Inclusion of hydraulic variables (Q, W, D, V, Fr) - Explicit distinction between hydraulic geometry exponent (f_exp) and Froude number (Fr) - Data cleaning and consistency verification - Compositional closure to enforce theoretical constraints (b + f + m = 1, a · c · k = 1) Both raw and processed datasets are provided: - Raw datasets (directly derived from observations) - Continuity-closed datasets used in the analysis These updates do not modify the main results of the study but improve reproducibility, clarity, and consistency with the methodological framework.
