Didymella bellidis is a phytopathogenic that causes leaf spot on tea (Camellia sinensis (L.) Kuntze), Kiwifruit (Actinidia spp.), Angelica dahurica, et al. The tea plant [Camellia sinensis (L.) Kuntze] has been widely grown in Guizhou Province, China. The cultivated area of tea plantation has reached 350,000 hectares, and the cultivation area in the region ranks first among all the provinces or cities in China. D. bellidis is a significant pathogen effecting tea leaves production in Guizhou Province, China. Due to the higher occurrence of the diseases, both the productivity and quality of tea leaves are severely affected.
