Nigel Bilbrough Joyce Guide to Records

The Nigel Bilbrough Joyce Guide to Records documents and contextualises the records of Nigel Bilbrough Joyce, an aeronautical engineer at the CSIR and the Aeronautical Research Laboratories, whose research areas included aeroelasticity, and kinetic heating. Included in the collection are technical records and technical standards compiled or collected by Joyce throughout his career in aeronautical engineering. The collection documented by the Guide consists of 49 inventory items, mostly paper format files, grouped into three series. The total collection occupies 135 linear cm of shelf space (or its equivalent). The Guide is the output of a research database. It was published online by the eScholarship Research Centre in November 2007. Work on the Guide was started in 1993 by the Australian Science Archives Project and continued by the Australian Science and Technology Heritage Centre. The records were transferred to the State Library of Victoria (MS 13552). The collection was listed by Ann McCarthy.
