Online Resource 2 - Radial displacement at the tunnel wall at the state of equilibrium

The radial displacement at the tunnel wall at the state of equilibrium calculated with the various ConVergence-ConFinement (CV-CF) methods is compared with the results obtained with a 3D numerical model of a tunnel excavation. A sensibility analysis is performed in order to compare the performance of the CV-CF approaches. The support lay distance is variated between zero and two times the tunnel diameter.
