资源简介:
This study was designed to evaluate the knowledge levels and attitudes of community-dwelling individuals in Türkiye regarding Traditional and Complementary Medicine (T&CM) practices. The main research hypothesis was that individuals’ knowledge and attitudes toward T&CM vary according to their sociodemographic characteristics, prior experiences with such practices, and their perceptions of conventional medicine. Data were collected using a structured questionnaire consisting of four sections: (1) a Descriptive Information Form including demographic variables such as age, gender, education level, and health status; (2) a Knowledge Level Form assessing participants’ understanding of various T&CM practices; (3) an Opinion and Experience Form investigating the use frequency, reasons for use, and perceived benefits of T&CM; and (4) the Complementary, Alternative and Conventional Medicine Attitude Scale (CACMAS), which measures individuals’ attitudes toward both alternative and conventional medical approaches.
