Fas signaling has been previously associated with induction of gene expression. The goal of this study is to characterize the role of short-term Fas engagement on the transcriptome of activated human B cells. Overall design: Isolated B cells were stimulated with CD40L overnight or left unstimulated. CD40L-stimulated B cells were then treated with FasL or FasL+Q-VD for 4h. Total RNA was isolated and subjected to NextSeq 500 (Illumina) uni-directional sequencing in triplicates.
