RNA expression of human naive B cells either unstimulated or activated with CD40L in presence or absence of transient Fas engagement

Fas signaling has been previously associated with induction of gene expression. The goal of this study is to characterize the role of short-term Fas engagement on the transcriptome of activated human B cells. Overall design: Isolated B cells were stimulated with CD40L overnight or left unstimulated. CD40L-stimulated B cells were then treated with FasL or FasL+Q-VD for 4h. Total RNA was isolated and subjected to NextSeq 500 (Illumina) uni-directional sequencing in triplicates.
