Irritable bowel syndrome is a functional gastrointestinal disorder leads to alteration in gut brain axis. pathophysiology of IBS is not well understood due to which any authentic biomarker of IBS is yet not available. Clinicians diagnosed IBS on basis of Rome criteria IV, alteration of gut microbiota can be used as an effect biomarker along with its correlation with meta-data.
