Clinches Pond, Moorebank, Wattle Grove Lake and Chipping Norton Restoration Project

A Green Army team to assist Council to restore a number of key sites within the Liverpool Local Government Association at Clinches Pond, Moorebank, Wattle Grove Lake and Chipping Norton. The project will assist to increase the area of riparian zones around waterways and improving connectivity between remnant patches of bushland. Improving these vegetation corridors will also enhance available habitat for a range of local flora and fauna including several threatened and migratory species. The selected sites will also allow the team to learn and utilise a range of skills across different urban environments and raise awareness about vegetation management in an urban setting.
