Toxoplasma gondii transcription factor AP2XII-8: a key regulator of G1 phase progression and parasite division

Our study delved deep into the functional characteristics of the C/G1 phase - expressed ApiAP2 transcription factor TgAP2XII - 8 in Toxoplasma gondii tachyzoites.These datasets include quantitative data used to evaluate the growth defects observed after the conditional knockdown of TgAP2XII - 8. The data also document the asexual division disorders we identified during the research. Moreover, they contain measurements related to the disruption of the parasite's cell cycle progression, particularly the accumulation in the G1 phase following the depletion of TgAP2XII - 8.In addition, these tables contain the results of our RNA - seq and CUT&Tag analyses, which led to our discovery of the role of TgAP2XII - 8 as an activator of ribosomal proteins expressed in the G1 phase.
