<p>Power plants with a capacity of at least 1 MW are included in totals. Counties with no<br />symbol have no utility-scale renewable electric generation. Distributed generation, such as<br />rooftop solar, is not included. Data is classified using Jenks Natural Breaks method.<br />Projection is WGS 1984 California (Teale) Alberts (US Feet). Data sources are the California<br />Energy Commission's Quarterly Fuel and Energy Report and the Wind Generation<br />Reporting System databases. Data provided is for the year 2024 and is current as of July<br />1, 2025. For further inquiries contact John Hingtgen at john.hingtgen@energy.ca.gov.</p>
