Effect of HRT on the nitrogen removal performance of pure biofilm rotating biological contactor system inoculated with HN-AD bacteria and its corresponding mechanism

In this study, a new pure heterotrophic nitrification-aerobic denitrification (HN-AD) biofilm system, which inoculated HN-AD bacteria in the rotating biological contactor (RBC) and discharged free microorganisms after biofilm formation, was proposed (PH-RBC). The impact of HRT on the pure biofilm system was investigated.
