METHODOLOGY OF PROVIDING SOCIO-PSYCHOLOGICAL SERVICES TO ELDERLY PEOPLE LIVING ALONE

This article presents the methodology of providing socio-psychological services to elderly individuals living alone, from both theoretical and practical perspectives. The demographic aging of the population, changes in family structures, and migration processes have led to an increasing number of elderly individuals living alone, necessitating a comprehensive study of their socio-economic, psycho-emotional, cultural, and spiritual needs. The research analyzes the psychological characteristics of elderly individuals living alone, the difficulties they face in social adaptation, the impact of social isolation and feelings of loneliness on mental health, depressive states, anxiety, life satisfaction levels, and the state of social support networks. The article substantiates the necessity of a comprehensive approach formed at the intersection of social work, gerontopsychology, sociology, pedagogy, medicine, and legal norms.
