Measuring Typhoon Impacts on Economic Activity - Replication Package

This replication package reproduces the empirical analysis presented in Exercise 3 of the chapter “Measuring Typhoon Impacts on Economic Activity” by Etienne Espagne, Yen Boi Ha, Kenneth Houngbedji, and Thanh Ngo-Duc. The package contains: documentation describing the workflow and software requirements; Stata scripts used for data construction and econometric analysis; Google Earth Engine (GEE) scripts used to generate geospatial exposure and nighttime light datasets; raw and processed data files required to reproduce the analysis.
