Insights on the dynamics of vegetated alternate bars by means of flume experiments

The dataset consists of the measurements carried out in a mobile-bed laboratory flume to study the alterations induced by adding added artificial vegetation on the morphodynamics of hybrid bars.<br> The data are divided according to the initial setup of the flume and the density of vegetation deployed in the second phase. Each zip file contains the Digital Elevation Models (DEMs) of the bed topography, data regarding sediment transport and flow discharge, and elaborations of the surface flow field.
