Revealing pulsars hidden in the 2nd Fermi Catalogue

We propose a minisurvey of unclassified Fermi sources from the 2FGL catalog.Using an intelligent parameter selection, we have identified a subsample thatis likely to be dominated by pulsars with some inclusion of highmass XRBs. Weaim to identify 7 new gammaray pulsars and their Xray counterparts, and thussignificantly increase the population of pulsars detected in both gammarays andXrays. The existing limited data hint at an intriguing change in the slope ofthe L(Edot) dependence at log(Edot)3536 erg/s. By identifying more pulsars inboth gamma and Xrays, we will be able to confirm the existence of those breaksand investigate their origin.
