Microbial ecology associated to bench-scale IASBR systems treating synthetic and dairy processing wastewaters working at low temperature

In this study, bacterial community associated to two laboratory scale intermittently aerated sequencing batch reactors (IASBRs) were investigated. Also, the bacterial composition in the initial biomass was analyzed. Amplicon library was constructed using primers that amplified V5-V9 regions in the 16S. Sequence results were processes using QIIME and the resulting OTU table was used for in silico analysis and ecological studies.
