We describe new optimised skin tissue dissociation protocol to digest ex vivo cultured and fresh human skin samples. Using scRNAseq analysis we created skin atlas composition of fresh and cultured skin samples and integrate it with other publicly available skin tissue scRNAdata to compare the quality and outputs of our new skin digestion protocol.
