Value of digital payment operations in Portugal 2023-2024, by sector

In Portugal, during the considered period, supermarkets and hypermarkets recorded 19.9 billion euros in digital payment operations. The public administration was the second sector registering the highest value of digital payments, with 9.3 billion euros transacted. Restaurant and catering services closed the podium with 8.3 billion euros in digital payments.
