Gut microbiota in zebrafish

In this work, we investigated the antioxidant effects of the extract from Sonchus brachyotus DC. (SBE) based on the 0.2% oxazolone-induced intestinal oxidative stress model of zebrafish. By analyzing oxidative stress markers and gut microbes in zebrafish, we attempt to correlate gut microbes with biomarkers of oxidative stress and found a relationship between them in explaining the mechanism of the antioxidant effect of extract from Sonchus brachyotus DC.
