VPRS 11959 List of Case Hearings

This series was used to record the schedule of cases to be heard by the Commission on a particular day. The hearings list was placed on notice boards around the Commission and was also published in the daily newspaper.The series includes details such as the time and location of the hearing, the Commission members presiding and a description of the type of hearing and any relevant awards. Entries also include the parties involved in the case and the case number.Although the function of this series was to record a schedule of cases on a particular day, it also lists the particular case number and can be used to gain access to VPRS 9599 prior to 1983. This series can be used as an alternative to the Case Files Register, known as Case Tracking Labels (VPRS 11958), to provide access to VPRS 9599 after 1983.
