Spain: modal split of passenger transport on land in 2021

Passenger cars accounted for the majority of land passenger transport in Spain in 2021. That year, almost 86 percent of passenger-kilometers traveled were made using automobiles. This value is slightly above the European Union average, which came to about 85.2 percent in 2021.
