FEATURE is a suite of automated tools that examine biological structures and produce useful representations of the key biophysical and biochemical features of these structures that are critical for understanding function. The utility of this system extends from medical/pharmaceutical applications (model-based drug design, comparing pharmacological activities) to industrial applications (understanding structural stability, protein engineering). <br/><br/>This project includes the following software/data packages: <br/> <ul> <li> <a href="https://simtk.org/frs?group_id=16#pack_1731">Calcium Model 2015 </a> : The FEATURE calcium model was trained on a total of 314 calcium sites and 2,735 non-sites from 312 protein structures taken from the RCSB Protein Data Bank (PDB) using FEATURE 3.1.
